How to post a classified Ad. 101

*If you forget your password, the [ Login ] screen has an option to send a temporary (remember that word "temporarry") password based on either your Username or Email.

1) First you must create a new user ID. The Boxster Board and the classifieds do not share logins, they are completely different machines.

1a) Click on the link to the classifieds [ Classifieds/Archives ]

1b) Click on the link to create a new user | New user |

1c) Choose a user name and enter a valid email address(avoid spaces and special characters) and then click submit. You should receive an email with a TEMPORARY password, use this password to login for the first time and then immediatley change it to something that you have some change of remembering. You can change your password in the "Main Configuration" section at the bottom of your "start page". Click the "Edit" link on the right side of the screen on the "Personal information, email, password, etc." line. Be sure to click the submit button to save your new password.

2) Now that you have a login and password, and have logged in, go to the "Main Index"

2a) Clicking on one of the sections under the "Boxster Mareketplace" will allow you to edit and post an advertisement. Note: You and others will not see the ad until it has been reviewed, this can be from a few minutes, hours to sometimes days if we are not around a computer!

2b) To make the post, click on the "Post" link. Please be sure to include your contact information: either phone, email, website or something. We will not approve posts without contact information, we will not attempt to correct your ad! If it it does not appear in a few days, ask yourself; "Did I put contact info in my ad..."
