These are my primary 7 or 8 computers. The reason for the numerical ambiguity is that the two AMD K6-2 ALTON1,2 motherboard based Linux boxes may be physically distinct, but they alternately occupy the central role as gateway, NFS, and Apache HTTP server to my local area network, a 10Mbit Ethernet LAN. Both have identical IP address [192.168.196.1] and domain names [linna.house.org] and therefore cannot be on my in-house Intranet at the same time.

As it is, I have only four color monitors and their number limits how many machines I can have running simultaneously.
