On 3 April 2002 I drove ZeeBee to the Tire Rack, South Bend, IN, to put some new 255/40ZR17 Pirelli P-Zero Asym. N-2 tires on the rear wheels. The front rubber is still good, but my rear tires had worn down to 'racing slicks' after 15,200 miles. The Tire Rack is in a new facility on the west side of South Bend; it took me a bit of hunting and driving around to find it. I had headed for the old site where I'd picked up tires and wheels on previous occasions.
