RED-LINE SMILEY :)

ribbonRe: Help me out guys! Im starting to waiver in my wait for my Boxster

Here the list of rationalizations I chose from when friends and relatives asked what the heck I was doing. Just cycle through them, and eventually you'll have convinced yourself this is the right thing to do. Cause it is!

1) A last desperate act as a bachelor (it's a wedding present - for me!) [You can always call the wedding off later, but a Boxster deposit is non-refundable.]

2) That $40K was just burning a hole in my pocket, anyway.

3) It's either now, or I'd have to wait until my mid-life crisis. [After all, wouldn't a top-of-the-line 911 ease that crisis better?]

4) Pasty white skin - cheaper than daily visits to the tanning salon.

5) Economy - less $$$ and better mileage than Ford Expedition. Honestly!

6) Commute car - merges like anything, and can be driven in the "3 or more" carpool lane with only 2 people!

7) Most trunk space of any car in its class!

8) Entertainment value - take it to Jiffy Lube and play "find the engine" with the "mechanics" there.

9) Prestige - most people think Porsches start at $100K (don't tell!)

10) The best reason of them all: driving it off the lot...
