DON'T buy a Boxster!

- - - warning...this is an attempt at humor - - -
i picked up my boxster on 1/22/98 and it's ruining my life. please don't let these things happen to you:
...my face hurts. i haven't smiled this much since the birth of my son.
...i've been taking 2 hour lunches, but never eat...and my hair gets messed up (sunny california).
...i've been generally distracted at work...thinking about the drive to work, thinking about the drive at lunch, thinking about the drive home, planning some fake errand to merit an evening drive, reading the messages on pete's boxster board (every few minutes).
...i've been keeping my garage cleaner than my house (no real problem here).
...the garage is cold at night. i usually put the top up before going to sleep. extra blankets help too. i think i'm still married.
...i'm tired of everybody looking at me (the car actually). it's a porsche!
any advice? how long will this last? is therapy required?
responses to various threads:
* 400 miles, no problems...does this count?
* yes, i've exceeded 4200 rpms...has anyone reached 1000 miles without pushing the break-in recommendations?
