(options) Outside Temp Display, anonymous no longer!!

I’m happy I don’t need to be anonymous anymore. Spoke today with my Dealer's tech. manager Mr. Damen. Explained how many people could benefit by their trick, especially in the USA where climate control is standard (not over here). We agreed it was OK for me to spread the news. As said before, you don’t need the OBC, just the AC. The System Tester 2 can do the job! (just as Perci Hala’s tech suggested as a possible solution). When connected to the car, just tell the PST2 the car *has* OBC (which is not true) and the PST2 will re-program the car’s (in dash?) processor so that IT WILL DISPLAY the outside temperature from now on. I don’t expect USA cars will be different in this respect. Tell your dealers and let them do it for you! One request though. I’m proud for my dealer they did find this out (they are proud too) and maybe it could be a nice gesture that those who will benefit give them an expression of thanks just by sending a short letter of thanks (that is if the trick eventually works for you). If you would be so kind than please mail to me (Dealer has no e-mail, this is no America) and I definitely will hand it over to the dealer. To be addressed to :
